Elizabeth Bunney is a third-generation Cree Métis citizen with Polish/Irish ancestry. A proud First Nations descendant from The Pas, Manitoba, Elizabeth brings over 20 years of in-house and agency communications experience working in natural resources, engineering, utilities, financial services, and manufacturing. Her experience includes supporting Indigenous Peoples during the 2022 Papal visit, as well as a recipient of an IABC Gold Quill 2024 - Award of Merit for Lessons in Performative Indigenous Relations - CN Rail’s Indigenous Advisory Council led by the late Hon. Murray Sinclair. Elizabeth attended the Bachelor of Communications and Public Relations program at MacEwan University and is passionate about using her skills to help amplify Indigenous voices and causes.
