Welcome

AKSIS members are innovators and entrepreneurs. Drive and creativity runs through their veins.
Their success is the benchmark we all strive for.
AKSIS wouldn’t exist if not for our members. We take great pride in the work and contributions our membership make to our Indigenous Business & Professional community.

Translated from Cree, Pe Metawe means “Come and Play” and serves as the guiding principle of how we approach our work. Indigenous owned and operated, we’re working towards the betterment of Indigenous people living in Alberta. Pe Metawe Consulting blends the traditional values of Indigenous culture with the modern needs of our clients.

Pe Metawe Consulting provides meaningful support through a range of services offered to our clients, driven by our team of passionate and skilled professionals.

Aksis - Pe Matawe Come & Play

Tale Quest is a collaborative partnership between the Young Alberta Book Society (YABS) and Pe Metawe Consulting. The three hour workshop includes a forty-five minute, guided character development process hosted by a literary artist, followed by a two hour collaborative storytelling experience led by professional facilitators. Each participant will take the role of their own created protagonist and work as a group to create and share a narrative story in a literary genre of their choosing. The workshop is designed for youth ages 12 to 17 to be hosted by schools, libraries or community organizations.

Pe Metawe Games is an Indigenous-owned retail gaming space based in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton). We carry a range of tabletop RPGs, board games, card games and accessories for purchase, either online or in-person. In addition, we have two private gaming spaces available for rent at an hourly rate and an open community gaming space with demo games available for a per person fee. As a community-focused location, Pe Metawe Games welcomes gamers of all hobbies. Our priority will always be to provide a space of safety and inclusion for underrepresented groups including the LGBTQ2S+ community, People of Color and of course Indigenous Peoples.
