Event Description:

Join us on Monday, June 21, with Minister of Indigenous Relations, Hon. Rick Wilson for National Indigenous Peoples Day. Minister Wilson will discuss the importance of engaging with First Nations and Metis communities while also noting how the Government of Alberta is working to ensure the Indigenous workforce is an integral part of Alberta’s economic recovery. Following his formal presentation, guests will have an opportunity to submit questions to Minister Wilson for a dedicated Q&A period.

The Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation (AIOC) continues to build strong connections with Indigenous communities across the province. Minister Wilson will highlight several success stories of the AIOC, and acknowledge the outstanding contributions these communities have made in various natural resource projects.
